Just because your superannuation fund made losses this year does not necessarily mean that your superannuation fund has let you down. This year has been quite bad for investment, with many superannuation funds seeing success if they have minimised losses. A superannuation fund can be expected to lose money on occasion, so you need to take this into account before deciding to look at other types of superannuation funds. If your superannuation fund has performed well compared to other similar funds, you may be judging it too harshly.
