If your superannuation fund isn't planned well, you could easily find yourself unable to afford a comfortable retirement. A lesson that many people may be learning recently is that it can even be a good idea to plan your superannuation fund to have enough in it a few years before you intend to retire, as poor performances in stock markets near the end of your career could potentially see you needing to work a few years more.
Whether you use an industry superannuation fund or other types of superannuation funds, make sure that the amount you are contributing can get you where you need to be in order to have a comfortable retirement.
